Match day three of the 2024 Buganda Masaza Cup was played over the weekend with nine games across several playgrounds..
Gomba who recently sacked their head coach Frank Mulindwa after two defeats were again beaten 1-0 away to Mawogola in a Muganzirwaza group contest on Sunday.

The five time Masaza Cup winners are currently under the stewardship of Mukasa Nasib.
Mawogola prevailed to their second win of the tournament courtesy of Alfred Ejoyi sole strike.
In the same group, Kyaggwe failed to maximize points for the first time with a 1-1 draw against Buwekula.
Yusuf Mukwana netted for Kyaggwe while Lukoye Samuel struck for Buwekula who remain winless after three games.
Simon Peter Mugerwa’s Ssingo came from a goal down to beat Kooki 2-1 in the other Muganzirwaza group match.
Calvin Peter Emayu and Shaban Kayongo scored for the two time competition winners.
In Bulange group, Bugerere beat Buddu 1-0 in the game that was played on Sunday.
The game was halted due to a heavy downpour in first half but resumed after and Bugerere prevailed to their second win.
Buddu have now lost two and just one win in three games.
Sulaiman Ssentongo scored to all important goal that fired Bugerere to maximum points.
Kyaddondo and Buluuli played out to goalless draw while holders Bulemeezi cruised to a 2-0 win over Butambala in the other games that were played in Bulange group.
Chieng Parjiek and George Masembe scored the two goals for Bulemeezi who cruised to their first win this term.
Mawokota registered their maiden win of the 2024 Masaza Cup competition with a narrow victory over Ssese at Buwama in Masengere Group.
Kigozi Ashiraf first half goal was enough to inspire Steven Bogere coached side to their first win this year after back to back draws against Buvuma and Busiro respectively.
