The third edition of the SC Villa fans gala has officially been launched on Thursday at the club offices in industrial area.
This year’s edition will be held on Saturday 3rd August, 2024 at Villa Park.
Sultan Hakim Kivumbi, the chairman organizing Committee of this year’s edition revealed that registration is open to every organised team.
“We call upon the registered six fans branches such as Nateete, Mbarara, Kalerwe, Jinja, Villa Park to come and participate. We call upon all organized teams to register for the event.”
“It will be a 7-aside event and we expect over 60 teams to take part in the competition.” Said Kivumbi
Registration for participation in the event is Shs100,000 per team which will cater for the facilitation of match officials.
On the same day, club fans will have an opportunity to take photos with the Uganda Premier league title that the club won last season.
There will also be lots of entertainment from musicians such as Eddy Kenzo, Mathias Walukagga and King Saha who are staunch SC Villa fans.
Meanwhile, FUFA licensed players are ineligible to take part in the SC Villa fans’ Gala competition.
The winners of the competition will walk away with a Bull and winners medals, runners up will also smile with a goat and silver medals.
The other activities that will take place on that day will include; Cervical cancer screening, Hepatitis B vaccination, Yellow fever vaccination, Hiv testing and counselling, Family planing, Antenatal clinic and De-womimg of children.
