Mukono District Football Associations (MDFA) have successfully held the fourth Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Jobiah Hotel in Mukono today Sunday 1st-September-2024.
It was during the AGM that a budget of 127,000,000/= for the 2024/25 season was revealed.
Club registration, FUFA grant, donations, sponsorship, fines,courses and membership fees are some of the ways MDFA is planning to use to raise funds to cover the estimated budget.
Zone 1 chairman Daniel Yenka, FUFA Excom Member Sam Mpiima, Hajji Ahmed the chairman Competitions Committee Buganda Region and Delegate Hajji Hassan Kavuma who represented the Buganda Region chairman Andrew Kaweesa were in attendance.
Gadafi Yusuf Mahad Kivumba the MDFA Chairman confirmed his intentions for running for a second term,
“I welcome you all for the fourth AGM, we would not manage such with out your support I believe all of you see a change in governance ever since we attained together we are to achieve the best.”
“I hereby confirm my intentions of standing as the MDFA Chairman.”
Kavuma while delivering his message from Kaweesa he promised more support to MDFA and other DFA’s,
“Greetings from chairman Kaweesa Andrew he is very happy with how MDFA is working hard towards the development of football he promises to continue support you and other DFAs as he has always done.”
Mpiima promised a fulfilment of all promises made by the FUFA President,
” I am here to deliver the good news the FUFA President is very aware of what you go through, so I assure you that all the promises made during his visits and more are to be fulfilled.”
Dr.Simon Kaggwa of Wagumbulizi Foundation was appreciated for his continued support towards all the Mukono DFA activities.
