Vipers SC are set to part ways with head coach Nikola Kavazovic after clashing with the club President Dr Lawrence Mulindwa.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that the Serbian tactician clashed with his boss over his training methods.

It’s revealed that club President Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa held a meeting with the Serbian on Thursday complaining about the training methods.

It was also established that Kavazovic was disappointed with the complaints from his boss and boldly stated that he conducts the club’s training sessions well as a coach.

Kavazovic also noted that his players were to train on the eve of the game and Saturday morning, hours to their game against SC Villa.

According to reliable sources, Kavazovic wanted to leave the club after the club’s 3-0 home win against Express FC but he was lured to stay put.

Kavazovic replaced Charles Livingstone Mbabazi at the helms of the six time Uganda Premier league champions on a two year employment contract.

With Kavazovic suspended, John Ayala Luyinda and Fred Muhumuza are set to be in charge of the team when they face champions SC Villa on Friday night.

As Vipers continues to evolve, the decisions made at the top will ripple through the club, potentially setting the stage for either a resurgence or another cycle of rebuilding. The narrative around Kavazovic and Vipers is far from concluded.
