Luzzi Denis Kibirige has resigned from his role as Head of Sports in Busiro county.
He confirmed the development during an interview with Swift Sports Uganda. Luzzi revealed that he decided to step aside due to several responsibilities.
“I have decided to step aside as head of Sports Busiro Ssaza county due to several responsibilities. I take this opportunity to thank my boss Ssebwana Charles Kiberu, his first deputy Steven Sseruyange and second deputy Kayongo Vincent for entrusting me in the role.”
I thank the Busiro Executive committee, Masaza Cup organizing committee and Busiro Ssaza management team.”
“I have decided to step aside due to other responsibilities that I have in person more so in my profession.”
He also thanked coach Kamya, Hon.Paul Nsubuga, Ssaka Wilber, Owek. Henry Ssekabembe and Hajji Sulaiman Ssejjengo.

Luzzi first served as fans coordinator Busiro Ssaza team in 2018 before being elevated to Head of Sports Busiro County.
He played a vital role during Busiro’s Buganda Masaza Cup triumph in 2022 and was also supportive when the team reached the 2019 final as well as the 2018 semifinals.
