Former Kitara FC head coach Brian Senyondo will be announced as the next head coach for seven time Uganda Premier league champions Express FC, Swift Sports can confirm.
Senyondo who was only sacked by Kitara FC on Sunday will replace Baker Mbowa who lost his job on Saturday last week.
His immediate task will be arresting the bad patch of form where the club has only managed a single win from the previous five matches.
Senyondo will re-unite with the current Express FC C.E.O Ashiraf Miiro with whom they worked at UPDF FC
They most recently lost to newcomers Lugazi FC at home and are currently 8th on the UPL log with 8 points.
Senyondo will be best remembered for his exploits with Kitara FC where he won their first ever silverware after beating NEC at Wankulukuku to clinch the Uganda Cup.
The soft spoken tactician broke through the coaching industry with now defunct Masaka based side Synergy FC, he later joined Mbarara City and UPDF FC where worked with the current Express CEO Ashiraf Miiro.
He plays a brilliant expansive and possessive brand of football that is adored by many Express FC faithfuls.
His backroom staff is yet to be established by this website.
