SC Villa’s striker Charles Lwanga is one of the players banging on the Uganda Cranes door for the 2024 CHAN tournament due in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania next year.
Lwanga is currently the Uganda Premier league top scorer with seven goals asserts that is to improve on his performances to make the squad for the event.
After being named as the best football player for the month of November at the Fortebet Real Stars, Lwanga also revealed his target for the season.
“It’s the performance that enabled win this award but I want to improve so that I can be considered for the Uganda Cranes CHAN team. I also want to win more monthly accolades and so I have to work hard.I believe it is my performances that will bring people’s attention towards me.”

“I have so far scored seven league goals but I want to score more this term and help my team. My target for the league is to finish with 15 goals.” Said Lwanga
Lwanga will be aiming to register his name on the score sheet again when his SC Villa side lock horns with Lugazi FC on Friday at the venue he has scored all his seven goals Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
