Football Classroom progressed to the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64 with a narrow 1-0 win over PCCP on Tuesday in the game that was played at Yes Centre in Nsambya.
Former Uganda Cranes midfielder Mike Sserumaga scored the all important goal for Football Classroom Team.
Sserumaga made the difference with a free kick strike moments after the recess to silence PCCP faithfuls and delight for Football Classroom members led by Anthony Tumwesigye.
Football Classroom had rhythm and structure to their passing moves but they had to show greater personality and incision to seal a place in the round of 64.
When referee Nasser Muhammad blew the final whistle, there was jubilation for Football Classroom members and despair for PCCP.
Under the stewardship of Felix Ssekabuza Football Classroom registered wins against Kansanga (1-0), Jaguar (5-2) and Moonlight Kazinga (2-0).
Football Classroom will now wait for the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64 draw due in January, 2025.
