Kitara FC have named a traveling squad of 23 players for the international friendly against Gor Mahia in Kenya.
The two sides will face off at the opening of The Siaya County Stadium in Kenya on Thursday January 2nd 2025.
The squad has no place for Denis Omedi who is on the verge of leaving the club in the mid-season transfer window.
Jude Ssemugabi who was part of the Uganda Cranes team that beat Burundi in the CHAN Qualifiers, also misses the trip to Kenya.
Former Gor Mahia players Patrick Henry Kaddu and Rogers Mugisha have been included and are set to face their former side.
This will be the second time Kitara is facing a Kenyan team in a friendly having lost 1-0 to Tusker FC in August this year in Masindi.
The squad is expected to leave Uganda this afternoon and arrive in Kenya in the evening.
