403 Brigade Vs KCCA FC Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 64 tie Rearranged

The postponed Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64 game between 403 Brigade and KCCA FC has been rearranged to Friday, 24th January at 3:00Pm.

The original game on 14th January was called off because, KCCA FC had eight players on the Uganda Cranes team that was preparing for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) that was due in February before it was postponed to August this year.

Usama Arafat, Mutwalib Mugolofa, Gavin Kizito Mugweri, Joel Sserunjogi, Saidi Mayanja, Brian Ijara, Shafik Nana Kwikiriza, Sadat Anaku are the eight KCCA FC players that had been summoned by Cranes head coach Paul Joseph Put.

The FUFA Competitions Department has now rescheduled the game to 24th January and it will be played at St.Daniel Comboni Ground.

KCCA FC and Express FC are the joint record competition winners with both on ten trophies each. The Kasasiro Boys last won the event in 2018 beating three time winners Vipers SC 1-0 in the final that was played in Bukedea.

Meanwhile, Express FC, Vipers, NEC FC, Police FC, BUL FC, Simba FC, Mbarara City, Catda, Bushenyi Veterans, Blacks Power, URA FC, Bright Stars and holders Kitara FC are some of the teams that have qualified to the round of 32.
