NEC FC head coach Hussein Mbalangu has explained why January signing Alpha “Thierry Ssali was not involved in their narrow win over KCCA FC at Lugogo on Thursday.
Alpha joined NEC FC on a two year employment contract from Express FC but his new coach asserts that he is yet to adapt to their style but is optimistic he will get his chance.
“We didn’t play Alpha against KCCA FC since he has just joined us. He has trained with the team for just two weeks, so he needs to adapt to our style but is in our plan and he will play.” Say Mbalangu
Alpha will compete for a starting place with James Jarieko and Ibrahim Kasinde at his new home.

NEC completed a double over KCCA FC thanks to Enock Ssebaggala’s sole goal to close the gap on leaders Vipers SC.
They are currently second on the Uganda Premier league table with 36 points and will next visit Police FC who lost to Lugazi in their previous game.
