Sadick Ssempigi’s tenure as Onduparaka head coach started with a hard fought 2-1 victory over Charles Ayiekoh’s Busoga United at Greenlight Stadium in Arua.

Jimmy Oola and Junior Andama scored the two goals that gave the Caterpillars all the three points.

Yusuf Adam scored the consolation for visitors Busoga United.

Victory sees Onduparaka FC put an end to their winless streak of six matches.

The Caterpillars move to eighth position after victory with 25 points from 20 games.

Busoga United are one position above the relegation zone (11th) with 23 points collected from the same number of games.

Buhimba Saints United FC and Ntugasaze FC played to a goalless draw at Kigaya.

The game between Paidha Black Angels and Gaddafi FC at Bar Okoro grounds was halted due to a heavy down pour and it will resume on Monday 14th at 10:0am
