Rock Boom Injects Shs1Bn into Ugandan Rugby

The Uganda Rugby Union has announced a partnership with Harris International Limited, through its flagship energy drink brand, Rock Boom.

The partnership that will see Rock Boom become the official energy drink of Ugandan Rugby is valued at Shs1 Billion.

The three-year partnership will see Rock Boom energize Uganda’s rugby by supporting various URU Programs, including the senior men’s and women’s national teams (Rugby Cranes and Lady Cranes), all the major URU organized competitions including the Nile Special Rugby Premiership (both Men and Women), Uganda Cup and the National 7s series.

URU Vice President Commercial, Hon Andrew Ojok Oulanyah expressed his delight upon the partnership that will bring energy to Uganda’s rugby.

“Partnering with a vibrant high energy brand like Rock Boom is a major win for Ugandan rugby. This Partnership will boost athletes performance, enhance fan experiences and support our wider vision of growing rugby across Uganda and beyond.” Said Oulanyah

Samuel Hooper, head of Marketing at Harris International asserted that partnership will impactful to the game and the community.

“At Rock Boom, we are the energy for winners, we stand for energy, ambition and drive values deeply aligned with rugby. This partnership allows us to support one of Uganda’s fastest growing sports and give back to the community that fuels us. We are ready to energize the players, inspire the fans and make a real impact on the game.” Said Hooper
