KCCA FC will visit FUFA Big League entity Kataka FC in the return leg fixture of the Stanbic Uganda Cup Semifinal without four Key players.
Jackson Magera’s side will miss the services of Etienne Katenga and Derrick Nsibambi who are not yet fit despite returning to full fitness.
Nsibambi has managed three goals for KCCA FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup this term. Meanwhile, Hassan Muhamud and Shafik Nana Kwikiriza are also ruled out but Filbert Obenchan is back after serving his league suspension against Lugazi FC.
KCCA carry a three goal lead and are firm favourites to reach the final, against Vipers, who eliminated holders Kitara FC 2-0 on aggregate.
In case the Joint ten-record competition winners KCCA FC prevail, it will be a repeat of the 2018 Stanbic Uganda Cup Final. At that time KCCA FC under the stewardship of Mike Mutebi edged Vipers 1-0 thanks to a Julius Poloto sole goal in Bukedea.
The final will be held on Saturday, 31st May 2025 under the lights of FUFA Kadiba.
