Uganda Premier league side Kitara FC are set for a huge exodus with majority of the team players out of contract including coaches.
The club could see over half their squad leave after due to lack of running contracts.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that head coach Wasswa Bbosa and his technical staff are out of contract as well following the end of the 2024/25 season.
Bbosa replaced Brian Ssenyondo at the helms of the Hoima based club helping them reach the Uganda Cup semis and seventh in the league.
Ronald Otti, Titus Ssematimba, Marvin Nyanzi, Benjamin Nyakoojo, Patrick Henry Kaddu, George Ssenkaaba, Chrispus Kusiima, Kabon Living, Arthur Kiggundu, Moses Sseruyidde, Lazaro Bwambale, Farouk Yawe are all out of contracts at the 2024 Uganda Cup winners.
Striker Jude Ssemugabi has already completed a move to double Champions Vipers SC who are boosting their squad for the forthcoming 2025/26 season.
The good news for Kitara FC is that their chairman Deo Kasozi is expected to renew his stay at the club for another season.
