Manzoki agrees terms with Vipers

Double winning champions Vipers have agreed terms with Congolese striker Cesar Manzoki.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that Manzoki is to return to Kitende for a second stint having been at the club during the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons.

Manzoki has been featuring for Mohammedan Sporting club based in Kolkata, West Bengal.

In his first stint at Vipers, Manzoki made 46 league appearances, scoring 26 goals and providing 13 assists for the club.

During the 2020/21 season, he was the top scorer in the Uganda Cup with 7 goals and also clinched the UPL golden boot in the 2021/22 season with 18 goals, helping the Kitende based side to the league title that season.

Manzoki has also previously featured for AS Dauphins Noirs, AS Maniema Union, AS Vita Club, Dalian Pro, Hatta Club and Mohammedan.

Vipers SC are expected to be busy in the transfer window having already signed Jude Ssemugabi and are also interested in NEC FC’s midfielder Enock Ssebaggala and KCCA FC’s Usama Arafat.
