In preparation for the 2025 Buganda Masaza Cup tournament, last year’s runners-up Kyaggwe will lock horns with Sulaiman Kiwanuka’s Spartans FC in a friendly match.
The game is scheduled for Thursday, 3rd July 2025 at Nakifuma Ssaza playground.
Kiwanuka has been supportive towards the prestigious Buganda Masaza Cup tournament both for his home county Kyaggwe and the championship as well.
The son to former motorsport administrator Late Hajji Juma Nkambwe is eyeing the Nakifuma County Parliamentary seat at the 2026 general elections.
“I call upon the people of Nakifuma to come and give support to our Kyaggwe team. This friendly is all about giving support to our Kyaggwe team for this year.” I have always supported the prestigious Buganda Kingdom organized championship and I assure everyone that I will continue to do so.” Said Kiwanuka
Kiwanuka is the founder of Ekibbiitu ky’ebyemizannyo in Nakifuma organized annually every end of the year where sports activities are held. He plans to construct a Stadium around Nsaji Sports Complex.
The Buganda Kingdom has on numerous occasions recognized Kiwanuka for his support towards the Masaza competitions.
Meanwhile, Kyaggwe will kick off their 2025 Masaza Cup campaign against Kkooki on Sunday, 29th June at Bishop SS in Mukono.
Under the stewardship of Simon Peter Mugerwa, Kyaggwe are in Muganzirwazza group alongside Ssingo, Kabula, Butambala, Kkooki and Mawogola.
