Farouq Meywa has officially announced his bid to stand for SC Villa presidency on Wednesday ,2nd July at Hotel Sojovalo in the elections due this year.

However, the chairman of SC Villa Electoral committee Isaac Walukagga revealed that Meywa didn’t pay the nomination fee of Shs19.5 and didn’t have a complete list of executive members.
Meywa says he is ready to take on the mantle and promised to actions not words.
“I officially announce my candidature to contest for SC Villa Presidency. Last time they said I didn’t have the required requirements to stand which was not true. I promise my supporters, i have the money and the executive members with me.”
“Many SC Villa fans are behind me and I believe I am the right person to take on the mantle at the club. SC Villa needs actions not words, we need to buy the best players in the country. Every season, we have been losing our best players and fail to replace them with those who suit this great club.” Said Meywa
Meywa also revealed that Mandela is currently in office illegally since his term as President expired this year.
“I have already petitioned the current leadership since they are illegally in office following expiration of their four year term. They need to organize elections and we plan early for our club.”
