KCCA FC have completed the signing of their former left back Herbert Achai.
Achai returns to Lugogo as a free agent after the expiry of his one year employment contract with Express FC.
KCCA acted swiftly to sign the versatile left back amidst a strong interest from neighbors NEC FC.
His return to KCCA sees him as the club’s third signing of the ongoing transfer window after striker Ivan Ahimbisibwe and right back Lazaro Bwambale.
Achai rose to the scene as a Kibuli SS student playing for the KCCA Junior Team alongside the likes of Allan Okello and Mustafa Kizza.
He eventually earned promotion to the senior team in 2017 and consequently played a role in the club’s success under coach Mike Mutebi.
He was let go by the club at the start of last season but the Lugogo based side have reignited their interest in him after his impressive performances with Express.
