Vipers SC have parted ways with left back Richard Matovu after his contract officially came to an end, Swift Sports reliably understands.
Matovu joined Vipers in July 2023 from Arua Hill SC on a two year contract.
He leaves Vipers as a Uganda Premier League and Stanbic Uganda Cup winner.

Before joining Vipers, Matovu had previously played for Kyetume FC as well as BUL FC.
Vipers SC have so far signed Enock Ssebagala, Mark Yallah from Liberia, Nigerian winger Odili Chukwuma and Congolese defender Kevin Dasy Dasylva.
The Venoms have today announced the appointment of Belgian coach Ivan Minnaert as their new head coach.
