Former Uganda Cranes left back Godfrey Walusimbi alias Wazza has joined Abdallah Mubiru’s coaching staff at Gaddafi FC.
According to Kawowo Sports, Mubiru has beefed up his coaching staff with Charles Livingstone Mbabazi who will serve as his immediate assistant and Walusimbi.
Walusimbi has previously worked with Nabbingo United in the lower division.

The former left back had 105 caps with the senior national team and scored three goals. He featured at the 2017 and 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
Walusimbi played for SC Villa, Bunamwaya (now Vipers), Don Bosco in DR Congo, Gor Mahia (Kenya) Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa and Vllaznia in Albania.
At Gaddafi, Mbabazi comes in with a lot of experience having served at Arua Hill SC, Onduparaka FC, Vipers SC and Mbarara City. He also worked with Mubiru on the Uganda Cranes national team.

Meanwhile, Swaib Ssebaggala has been appointed as the goalkeeping coach while Edward Ssali alias Biano will stay at the Entebbe based side.
Mubiru who has worked at Police FC, KCCA FC, Vipers SC, Proline FC and Mbeya City in Tanzania replaced Robert Mukasa alias Kiyenje as head coach at Gaddafi.
