BUL FC captain Kasonko signs new contract

BUL FC captain George Kasonko has extended his stay at the club for one more year.

Kasonko joined BUL FC at the start of the 2020/21 season from Busoga United. During his time at the club, he has won the Stanbic Uganda Cup (2022) and the FUFA Super Eight twice in 2023 and 2024.

“I am thrilled to be continuing my journey with BUL FC. This club is like a second home to me, and I’m excited to keep pushing for more success with this great team.”

“I want to thank the management, coaching staff, and my teammates for their support. Let’s keep working hard, we shall achieve more together!” Said Kasonko as quoted by BUL FC

He joins Walter Ochora and Martin Aprem who also signed new employment contracts at the Eastern Giants.

Head coach Abbey Kikomeko who led the side to a second place finish in 2023/24 and third position last season also renewed his stay at the club.
