Defender Ali Ayatu Ssempijja has joined FUFA Big League side Wakiso Giants FC from Ntugasaze FC.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that Ssempijja has put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with the FUFA Big League entity.
The Purple Sharks who were relegated from the Uganda Premier League at the end of last season will be aiming to make a return to the topflight this forthcoming season.
Ssempijja is a tested and proven player who has previously played for Kitara FC,Police FC, Kiboga Young, SC Villa, Tooro United and Somalian side Heegan FC.
Wakiso Giants have also completed the signing of Duncan Sseninde, Pius Wangi and Bashir Mutanda.
They had spent five seasons in the Uganda Premier League but a disastrous campaign under Steven Bengo saw them succumb to relegation.
