The 2025/26 Uganda Premier League will officially kickoff on Friday, 26th September with six matches to be played on the opening day.
Simon Peter Mugerwa whose Mbarara City side takes on his former bosses Police FC at Kiira Road Police Arena in Kamwokya has confirmed the players he will use for the 2025/26 campaign.
This season the league will be played under three rounds as introduced by FUFA.
Mugerwa who replaced Charles Livingstone Mbabazi at the helms beefed up his side with new players such as Ibrahim Thembo, Busuulwa Marvin, Denis Kaka Omony, midfielder Ian Amanya and Oscar Ssesazi among others.
