Uganda Cranes had their 2026 World Cup dream end on Tuesday after their 2-1 defeat to Algeria at Hocine Ait Ahmed Stadium.

During the campaign, Uganda scored 14 goals and in fact they scored in every match of Group G with their biggest win coming at Namboole against Mozambique last month.
