Kataka humble Wakiso Giants to maintain fine home run

Kataka FC maintained their fine home run with a 4-1 thrashing of Wakiso Giants on Sunday.

Michael Olinga netted a brace with Isaac Owiny and Ali Ssentamu scored the other goals for Kataka at Mbale City Stadium.

Owiny gave the home side the lead in the 10th minute from a free-kick following Samson Kasozi’s handball just outside the box.

Umar Kayemba levelled matters for the visiting Purple Sharks in the 25th minute.

Ssentamu made it 2-1 for Kataka at the half hour mark as the home side went into the break with a slim lead.

Olinga extended Kataka’s lead in the 53rd minute before completing his brace in the 83rd minute.

Kataka go to 16 points same as second placed Kigezi HomeBoyz while Wakiso Giants are fourth with 15 points.

Kataka have now managed five home wins in the six games they have hosted, in fact they only drew with leaders Blacks Power.
