Ssenoga grabs brace as Express make light work of Calvary

Express FC earned a comfortable 4-0 win over Calvary FC in the rescheduled game played at Nakivubo.

Muhamed Ssenoga Kagawa scored a brace while Richard Basangwa and Herbert Asiimwe got one goal apiece.

Basangwa opened the scores from close range following Peter Onzima’s cross in the 24th minute.

Ssenoga made it 2-0 from the penalty spot in two minutes into the second half before extending the lead from another Onzima assist in the 55th minute.

Asiimwe put the icing on the cake in the 75th minute moments after coming on for Basangwa.

Ssenoga is the current league leading scorer with six goals, one more than KCCA’s Ivan Ahimbisibwe.

The Red Eagles are now 7th with 12 points from nine games played while Calvary remain the only winless team in the league.

Calvary are bottom placed with one point accumulated from eight games they have played so far.

Express will visit Entebbe UPPC in their next game on 11th December while Calvary will host Vipers in their rescheduled game on Tuesday 9th December.
