Uganda Premier League joint leading scorer Muhammed Ssenoga Kagawa is set to join Rwanda’s Rayon Sports.
Kagawa has enjoyed an impressive start to the season with Express FC scoring six goals in 10 games played.
Kagawa has been a transfer target for a number of clubs in Rwanda as well as the Kenya Premier League.
He is expected to reinforce the Rayon Sports attack as the club strives to win the Rwanda Premier League title for the first time since 2019.
Kagawa has previously played for KCCA FC, SC Villa and Tooro United but also Katale and Entebbe FC in the lower divisions.
Rayon Sports, nicknamed the Gikundiro, are 5th on the Rwanda Premier League table with 17 points from 11 games played.
He is set to join a long list of Ugandan players who ply their trade in the Rwanda Premier League like Emmanuel Okwi, Nicholas Ssebwato, Dennis Omedi and Ronald Ssekiganda.
Others include Hakim Kiwanuka, Eric Ssenjobe, Faizo Kazibwe and Robert Mukhoghotya.
