Alex Isabirye will embark on his fresh journey at BUL FC away from home against relegation fighting Calvary FC on Wednesday 7th January 2026 at Midigo Primary school grounds in Yumbe.
This will be Isabirye’s first game in the dug out after replacing Abbey Kikomeko who was relieved of his duties late late last year.
Calvary FC are yet to register any victories since promotion to the UPL. They have collected only three points from 11 games.
BUL have gone seven games minus registering any victory, they last won a game on 23rd October against debutants Buhimba Saints United FC.
Isabirye believes his side is more than ready to fight for victory despite facing a side that is fighting for survival,
“The players are all safe in Yumbe and all of us are set for this game. We very well know our opponents are also fighting to move out of the relegation but we shall fight for the best results.”
“At BUL we are building a team that will always be fighting for titles.”
The Eastern based side will miss out Pascal Ngobi and Mwere Nicholas in this encounter.
BUL FC are ninth on the table with 10 points from the 11 games they have played.
