Express FC are in advanced stages of signing of left-back Disan Galiwango from Tanzania Premier League side Dodoma Jiji FC, Swift Sports understands.
Galiwango is a former Express FC captain who played for the club between 2018-20 before joining Vipers SC in 2020.
Galiwango has spent three and half years in the Tanzania Premier League with Kagera Sugar FC and Dodoma Jiji FC.
He also previously played for Simba FC (UPDF FC), The Saints FC and Water FC before joining Express FC at the start of the 2018/19 season.
If the talks between Express FC and Galiwango’s camp materialize, Galiwango will be the first signing of the club in the mid-season transfer window.
As earlier reported by this website, Hakim Wandera (left-back) and forward Richard Basangwa have already agreed terms to join NEC FC once the transfer window opens next month.
