BUL FC humbled Agape United 7-0 during the round of 64 contest of the Stanbic Uganda Cup at Kotido playground on Thursday.
The 2022 competition winners needed goals from Karim Ndugwa (quadruple) and Seri Arigumaho hat-trick.
Arigumaho scored three goals for the visitors in the opening 13 minutes of the contest before Ndugwa scored four goals for the Eastern Giants.
Meanwhile, UPDF FC edged Nsambya FC 2-1 in the other round of 64 encounter in Makindye to reach the round of 32.
Andrew Kigozi and an own goal from Bonitace Ekengu ensured the army side overcomes the oldest Ugandan football side.
Joseph Nsubuga a former SC Villa player had equalized for Nsambya in the 69th minute but his goal turned out to be a consolation.
BUL FC and UPDF FC join Vipers SC, KCCA FC, Mbarara City, Express FC and Six O’clock into the round of 32.
