Express FC have completed the signing of midfielder Marvin Nyanzi on a two year contract.
Nyanzi joins the Red Eagles as a free agent after his employment contract with Kitara FC expired at the start of the ongoing season.
Nyanzi is expected to add creativity in the Express FC offensive midfield heading into the business end of the season.
The creative midfielder rose to the Uganda Premier League scene with Wakiso Giants in 2022 before he switched to Kitara FC in the 2024/25 season.
He garnered attention with his impressive performances while turning out for Buddu in the Masaza Cup as well as Kajjansi United in the Buganda Regional League.
Nyanzi is one of the many signings Express FC are bringing in to replace the already departed players in the ongoing transfer window.
The Jimmy Kintu coached signed already lost Richard Basangwa, Hakim Wandera, Abdulahi Rashid Kawawa, Moses Oloya, Ali Mwirusi and Muhammad Ssenoga Kagawa.
Express FC will start the second half of the season with a home duel against Entebbe UPPC FC on Valentine’s Day at Nakivubo.
