Onduparaka FC 1-1 Ntugasaze FC
Ntugasaze FC went top of the FUFA Big League table following their 1-1 draw against Onduparaka FC at the Greenlight Stadium in Arua.
Striker Brian Ade had given the hosts an early lead in the 20th minute but Jibril Nsimbe equalized for Ntugasaze in the 67th minute.
Ntugasaze now lead the log courtesy of the head to head tie breaker having garnered 29 points same as Paidha Black Angels, Kigezi Homeboyz and Blacks Power who occupy the other respective spots in the top four.
Blacks Power who came into the match day as the table leaders lost their status with a 2-0 defeat to Paidha Black Angels.
Ntugasaze will host third placed Kigezi Homeboyz in their next game on Sunday 8th March with a target of consolidating the lead on the summit.
Onduparaka are engulfed in the hardened relegation battle and sit third from the bottom 18 points from 17 games played.
The former Uganda Premier League side will visit Kataka FC in Mbale in their next Big League game on Women’s Day.
