Nairobi United seal deal for another player from NEC FC
Kenya Premier League side Nairobi United FC have completed the signing of midfielder Joseph Seremba from NEC FC.
According to Kenyan renown journalist Kevin Teya, Nairobi United have sealed the deal for Seremba who has been their target since last season.
Seremba had an impressive debut season in the topflight with NEC FC that saw him earn a slot in the UPL Best XI of the 2025/26 campaign.
He joined NEC from Kigezi Homeboyz at the start of the previous season and scored twice and provided three assists in the 21 games played.
He becomes the fourth player to directly join Nairobi United from NEC FC, following the footsteps of Mustafa Kizza, Charles Waibi and Titus Ssematimba.
Gavin Kizito Mugweri recently signed as a free agent from KCCA FC and striker Muhammad Shaban are the other incoming recruits at the club.
Nairobi United is also expected to loan out Former Express FC midfielder Shafik Ssebyala in pursuit of playing time.
Nairobi United will be under the tutelage of former Simba SC and AFC Leopards coach Patrick Aussems in a bid to challenge Gor Mahia for the league title next season.
