Rayn Kizito Figo has joined Tunisian topflight side ES Hammam Sousse on a two year contract.

Kizito completes the move as a free agent following the expiry of his employment contract with UPL side Police FC.

Prior to the move, Kizito was initially a prime target for Stade Tunisien, another topflight side in Tunisia.

His move makes him the third Ugandan in the Tunisian Ligue 1, following CS Sfaxien duo of Travis Mutyaba and Hakim Mutebi.

Figo, as commonly known, is a former Uganda Hippos (U20) midfielder who burst to the scene in 2024 with Police FC as one of the most impressive upcoming midfielders in the country.

He was one of the most sought after players in the window and consequently attracted interest from UPL giants SC Villa and KCCA FC after running down his contract with the Cops.

His new side, Espoir Sportif de Hammam Sousse, was founded in 1954, 71 years ago and recently earned promotion back to the topflight league last season.

Kizito could debut in the club’s subsequent league fixture against defending champions Club Africain on Saturday 29th August.
