REPORTS: AS FAR set to sign Allan Okello from Yanga

Moroccan giants AS FAR Rabat are set to complete the signing of Allan Okello from Tanzanian champions Young Africans.
According to Micky Jnr and Tanzania based journalist Felix Jason, AS FAR are closing on Okello with the transfer to the Moroccan side very imminent.
Felix reports that AS FAR Rabat’s bid was significantly better than what Wydad Casablanca was initially offering to sign the Uganda Cranes offensive midfielder.
It was earlier reported that Wydad tabled a $700,000 bid while Yanga’s asking price for Okello was $1million, a valuation believed to have been met by AS FAR.
Okello’s imminent departure from Yanga comes after the club signed Burkinabe midfielder Stephane Aziz Ki as his direct replacement.
Aziz Ki, who played for Yanga between 2022- 2025, returns to Yanga for a second stint from Libyan side Al Ittihad Tripoli.
Okello is set for another expedition in North Africa following his unsuccessful spell in Algeria with Paradou AC.
His move to AS FAR will see him reunite with coach Pedro Goncalves who was his coach at Yanga from January until May this year.
