SC Villa will be aiming for a third consecutive victory when they entertain Kigezi Home Boyz at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku on Tuesday.
The Jogoos come into this contest after back to back wins against rivals Express FC and URA FC, keeping cleansheets on both ocassions.
The Gorillas on the other hand played out to a goalless stalemate with KCCA in their previous league contest.
SC Villa head coach Zeljko Kovacevic has warned his men not to take Kigezi Homeboyz lightly.
“We need to show character and strength on every part of the game. Kigezi will come here and want to prove a point against SC Villa but we need to show good things, play fast and score goals,” he said
Villa will miss the services of Raymond Barasa who is with the U20 in the Cecafa U20 Afcon qualifiers.
With Najib Yiga out injured Barasa has sometimes been deployed in midfield. Aslam Ssemakula who was stretched off is expected to be in line for the game.
Kefa Kisala’s Kigezi Homeboyz will look up to former SC Villa goalkeeper Norman Angufinduru, Darius Arinaitwe and their long serving player Karim Ndagizimana.
Kigezi Homeboyz will be boosted by the return of Osman Mayanja.
