Mugerwa targets maximum points against former paymaster Police

Blacks Power head coach Simon Peter Mugerwa will be aiming for maximum points against his former paymasters Police FC when the two sides face off at Hoima City Stadium on Wednesday.
Mugerwa’s men registered a narrow 1-0 win over fellow newly promoted side Ntugasaze FC in their previous game at the same stadium last week.
The Cops also prevailed to a 1-0 win over Mbarara City thanks to Ivan Mayanja’s sensational strike.
Mugerwa’s remarks ahead of the game
Mugerwa believes the contest against Matia Lule’s side gives them another opportunity to showcase themselves.
“We want to establish ourselves as a truly premiership side and the game against Police gives us an opportunity to show our abilities,” said Mugerwa.
“The win in the opening game gave us morale and we want to build on that against a tough side,” he added.
