The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has confirmed the date for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier match against Botswana.
Uganda will host Botswana under the lights of Hoima City Stadium on Saturday 14th November 2026.
The Cranes secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Libya in their previous Group H contest in the AFCON 2027 Qualifiers clash held at Hoima City Stadium last month.
Debutant Arnold Vula scored the all-important goal for Paul Put’s men, who also drew 1-1 away to Tunisia in their first match. Uganda, who are assured of a place in the 2027 continental showpiece as co-hosts, currently lead Group H with four points.
Following the two AFCON qualifier matches, Uganda played two friendly games against DR Congo in South Africa earlier this month, winning one and drawing the other.
The previous international window also helped Put test heritage players such as Nathan Asiimwe, Noble Okello, Abdoulaye Sissako, Akpan David Udoh, Dieudonne Gaucho Debohi, Souleyman Diaby, Arnold Vula, Kelvin Owusu Boateng and Kingdom Osayi.
