KCCA FC will host their first night game of the 2026/27 campaign when they welcome UPDF under the lights of MTN Omondi Stadium on Thursday.
The 13-time league champions will be targeting a fourth consecutive win of the season following victories against Kataka FC, URA FC and Ntugasaze FC.
Brian Ssenyondo, who will be taking on his former paymasters, believes results are important since they keep his team going up the table.
“We are happy with the results because they keep us going up the table and our target of winning the championship. The wins are very important and I believe we could do better than that, and if we can keep on scoring more goals we will produce better results. If different personalities can chip in and contribute to the performance of the team then you are destined to win things,” said Ssenyondo.
Ivan Ahimbisibwe, Ibrahim Kasule and Emmanuel Anyama will be expected to light up KCCA’s attack.
The Kasasiro Boys face Hussein Mbalangu’s men who are also aiming for back-to-back wins following victory at Express last week.
Mbalangu also takes fixtures against KCCA more seriously and he will look up to Derrick Taremwa who netted a brace in the 2-1 win over the Red Eagles.
