Uganda Youth Football Association (UYFA) chairman Roberts Kiwanuka has been appointed to the FUFA Executive Committee at the 102nd Annual General Assembly held in Mbarara.
Kiwanuka, who was recently elected as UYFA chairman for another four-year term, was confirmed to the FUFA Executive Committee alongside Richard Ochom at the AGM held at Hotel Triangle in Mbarara on Saturday, 17th October 2026.
Kiwanuka hailed FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo for considering youth football representation on the Executive Committee.
“I congratulate the youth football fraternity for this milestone. We also thank the FUFA President for considering us. I know it comes with a huge responsibility, but with his guidance and the senior members of the Executive Committee, I will work to my best to support the President and help him deliver his vision,” Kiwanuka said.
Explaining the expansion of the Executive, Magogo said:
“As you see, the activities inside FUFA have increased, we really need a number of people in human resource to support the President – that is why the two have been added. Mr. Roberts Kiwanuka has put a lot of effort in youth football in this country and in the era we are in of converting the youth into product, we believe that he will add a lot.”
Kiwanuka is also the Rays of Grace Academy director. His elevation to the FUFA Executive Committee means UYFA will have to elect another member to replace him as a delegate at the General Assembly.
