Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC will take on wounded Police FC under the lights of St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende on Friday.
Matia Lule’s Cops visit Kitende after suffering a 6-1 home defeat to record league champions SC Villa.
Lule’s men have managed just one win in their previous five league matches and have conceded nine goals in their last two outings.
Vipers SC are also desperate for points to narrow the gap on leaders BUL FC and will be boosted by their 5-0 humbling of Kataka FC.
Denis Lavagne’s side however played out a 1-1 draw with Maroons in their last game at Kitende.
The Venoms will look up to the in-form attack of Congolese Gusto Mulongo along with Chukwuma Ambrose and hat-trick hero against Kataka, Usama Arafat.
The Venoms are unbeaten since their opening day defeat to Abdallah Mubiru’s Entebbe UPPC and have been dominant in this fixture against Police, winning 14 of the previous 22 UPL meetings, losing four and drawing four.
