Express FC to renew James Odoch’s contract

Express FC is set to reward James Odoch a new employment contract ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Odoch is currently out of contract following the expiration of his one year deal at the seven time Uganda Premier league champions.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that new club chairman Kiwanuka Suubi has decided to reward Odoch with a new one year deal. Both parties have also agreed to terms.

Odoch replaced Wasswa Bbosa with whom he worked as assistant during the 2020/21 season when the club clinched the Uganda Premier league title and CECAFA Kagame Cup.

The former Express and SC Villa midfieder has previously handled Holdings FC (now defunct), JMC Hippos, Uganda Revenue Authority FC, Nyamityobora FC and Ntinda United Football Club.

Meanwhile, Express have also appointed Ashraf Miiro as their new Chief Executive officer (CEO) replacing Isaac Mwesigwa who joined SC Villa.
