Newly promoted Uganda Premier League side NEC FC are in advanced talks with Arua Hill defender Isaac Okello and midfielder Allan Mugalu.
Okello and Mugalu are among the players whose contracts are about to expire while the club has not yet expressed interest for a possible renewal.
Mugalu is one of the long serving players at the West Nile club having been around since with the club before the club rebranded from Dove all Stars.
Okello is a versatile defender who can play in the central defense but also the right back position.
The combative defender has previously played for Express and Onduparaka FC and had stint in Kenya with KCB FC.
NEC FC will be looking forward to strengthening their squad ahead of their debut season in the topflight following promotion from the Big League.
The Bugolobi based side has already confirmed the appointment of Hussein Mbalangu as their head coach replacing Michael Skills Lukyamuzi.
Mbalangu will be in the dug out alongside Dudu Bosco as his immediate assistant.
