SC Villa have completed the signing of Onduparaka FC’s versatile player Denis Ojara, Swift Sports Uganda understands.
Ojara has put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with the 16 time Uganda Premier league champions. He is expected to deployed as striker at SC Villa.
BUL FC were also interested in Ojara’s signature but the defender opted to join Dusan Stojanovic’s coached side.
For starters, Ojara started his career as a forward before he turned into a defender.
At Onduparaka, he is remembered for scoring a hat trick that inspired the West Nile side to their first win of the 2022/23 season against UPDF FC.
Ojara played at Lugazi Municipal and Friends FC in the Regional League before joining Vipers SC.
He was later released by the Venoms and joined Tooro United whom he helped earn promotion from Big League to the Uganda Premier league for the 2021/22 season.
Ojara studied at Gulu High School, Bishop Negri, Lugazi based Hands of Grace and lately St Mary’s SS Kitende where he won the Copa Coca cola championship in 2019 that where held in Jinja district.
