Former KCCA FC goalkeeper Derrick Ochan has completed a move to URA FC, Swift Sports Uganda understands.
Ochan has joined the tax collectors as a free agent on a two year employment contract.
Maroons FC were the other Uganda Premier league side interested in his services.
Ochan left KCCA FC at the end of last season following expiration of his three year contract at the Lugogo based whom he joined in 2021 during Morley Byekwaso’s reign.

At URA FC, Ochan is to boost the goalkeeping department that has Denis Otim and Abdul Magada.
Besides KCCA FC, Ochan has previously featured for Vipers SC and Police FC. He is also a product of the FUFA Juniors League and featured for Vipers Junior Team before joining the senior team where he spent four years.
Ochan also serves as Acholi Province goalkeeper whom he led to the 2019 FUFA Drum triumph when they edged Bukedi 5-3 in the penalty shootout. In the shootout, Ochan was the hero with the most important save to earn Acholi their maiden FUFA Drum trophy.
URA FC have also signed Abraham Tusubira from Maroons FC, Joseph Bright Vuni from UPDF FC and Faizo Matovu from new league entrants Lugazi FC.
