Buganda Regional League side Kira United are in advanced talks with Augustin Nsumba to takeover as their head coach.
In case the deal materialises, Nsumba’s task will be helping Kira United gain promotion to the FUFA Big League.
He will be replacing Arnold Ntambazi who was Kira United’s head coach last season.
As a coach, Nsumba has previously worked with Lugazi FC, URA FC, Kyetume FC, Express FC and Kyaggwe in the prestigious Masaza Cup tournament.
During his playing days, he played for URA FC, SC Villa, BUL FC and IBV in Iceland.
Last season Kira United failed to play in the promotional play off final after finishing second behind Ssezibwa leaders Simba FC.
