CHAN 2024 Qualifiers: Four Ugandan officials assigned for Rwanda Vs Djibouti

The Confederation of African Football has appointed Ugandan match officials for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 Qualifier first leg contest between Rwanda and Djibouti.

The African Nations Championship is a biennial tournament for players playing in their national league competitions.

Eng.William Oloya will handle the game that will be played on 31st October at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.

He will be assisted by Brianson Musisi and Katerega Ashiraf who will serve as the first and second assistants.

Ali Sabila Chelanget is the fourth official while Kenya’s Solomon TOO Kaptingei is the match commissioner.

Waldabet Koissoual from CHAD will work as the Referee Assessor.

The first round of the qualifiers for the CHAN tournament will be played in October and November while the second round of qualifiers will be played in December.

The African Nations Championship is a biennial tournament for players playing in their national league competitions.

Uganda,Kenya, and Tanzania will co-host the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in February, 2025.

The 2024 edition will expand to 19 teams because the East Africa zone (CECAFA), which includes the three host countries, received an additional slot due to their automatic qualification as hosts.
