Uganda Premier league side Kitara FC have sacked Brian Ssenyondo as their head coach following a poor start to the season.

The development was confirmed in a statement released by the club on Sunday.

“Kitara FC would like to announce the mutual parting ways with head coach Brian Ssenyondo and their entire technical team. The decision has been made after thorough deliberation with the collective interests of Kitara FC and its supporters in mind.

During his time as Kitara FC head coach, Ssenyondo guided the side to their maiden Stanbic Uganda Cup last term.

Kitara FC have lost four of their six games this term with three coming at home and are currently on four points they have garnered so far.

They will next face off with inconsistent URA FC on Friday, 1st at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo.

Richard Malinga (Mbale Heroes FC), Baker Mbowa (Express FC), Sadiq Sempigi (Lugazi FC) and Nikola Kavazovic (Vipers SC) are the other coaches who have lost their jobs this term.
