Charles Ayiekoh resigns as Kampala Queens Head Coach

Charles Ayiekoh Lukula has stepped down as Kampala Queens Head coach, Swift Sports Uganda understands.

This website understands that Ayiekoh is expected to take over at FUFA Big League side Busoga United following his resignation at Kampala Queens.

He was appointed as Kampala Queens head coach in December last year replacing Charles Ssenyange alias Kadidi.

Ayiekoh leaves Kampala Queens fourth placed on the Finance Trust Bank Women’s Super League table with six points in four games they have played so far this term, winning one and drawing three.

In 2022, Ayiekoh guided Tanzanian side Simba Queens to the CAF Women’s Champions League semifinal in Rabat becoming the first CECAFA region side to reach the stage.

Ayiekoh has previously served at several clubs like Bunamwaya (Vipers), Police FC, Kirinya JSS (Busoga United), Soana (Tooro United), Maroons, Nyamityobora, MYDA FC, Tanzania’s Simba Queens among others.
